The analysis of the resistive transition in granular superconductors including charging effects is carried out in the context of a mean field theory using the thermal Green function technique after transformation of the model hamiltonian into the number-phase representation. The not reentrant behaviour of the T-c is obtained exactly in the first order perturbation theory. Pursuing the analysis to the third order allows to obtain the coefficients of the free energy expansion and some predictions for the specific heat ump Δc are exploited. In particular a R_N^<-k> dependence, R_N being the normal state resistance, is obtained up to a critical value where Δc is suppressed.
