Temporal behavior of Oregonator model (F, K, N, model) of the Belousov-Zhabotinskii reaction is investigated by both computer simulations and a theoretical analysis under the stiffly coupled approximation. Characteristic features obtained by computer simulations are summarized into two points: Coexistence of two limit cycles, a stable and an unstable one, and the existence of a bifurcation point p_d. Our theoretical analysis on the basis of a perturbational approach can explain global behavior of Oregonator fairly well.
