The parameter ΔE, involved in the random walk model of the deep inelastic collisions, is estimated by simple models. For the nucleon transfer processes, ΔE is proportional to E_< 1ab> per nucleon of projectiles. For the inelastic processes ΔE≃ 2Δ, where Δis the parameter of Weidenmu^^‥ller's random coupling model.
