On the Angular Distribution of Nucleon Scattered from N^<14> : Impulse Approximation

The differential cross section and the polarization of the nucleons scattered elastically and inelastically by N^<14> are calculated by the use of the impulse approximation, for E_n=90, 156 and 310 Mev. The effect of D state in N^<14> is surveyed by these angular distributions. We found that the influence of D state made no appearance in the angular distributions of the elastic differential cross sections, but in the angular distributions of the inelastic scattering to the first excited state of N^<14>. We also calculated the polarizations of the nucleons bothe elastically and inelastically scattered by N^<14>.
