Nucleon-Nucleon Scattering at 10 Mev and Pion-Pion Resonances

The dispersion relation which is the function of the momentum transfer is used to cal-culate the nucleon-nucleon scattering amplitude as the function of the angle at fixed energy in non-relativistic approximation as in the previous paper. The two-pion contributions due to the ρ meson and the scalar meson (S-wave π-π pair) are derived using Cini-Fubini's approximation method. The dispersion relation is applied to the 10 Mev p-p and n-p scatterings. It is indicated that the contribution of the ρ meson is large and in the same order in magnitude as the effect of the (3, 3) resonance if the effective coupling strengths derived from the electro-magnetic form factor of nucleons are used. And also it is shown that taking into account the contributions due to the ρ meson and the scalar meson in addition to the one-pion and the two-pion contribution and using suitable strengths and the sign of the effective couplings, we may have a possibility that the real parts of all amplitudes except α are compared with the standard values.
