• The meso-disintegration of deuterons and the scattering of π-mesons by deuterons are discussed introducing the nucleon isobars rather phenomenologically. Agreements with experiments are satisfactory in the case of meso-disintegration, and the deviations from impulse approximation in the case of the scattering are in right direction.
