The reaction π+N→N^*+ω is analysed in terms of the "ρ-exchange" model, which is shown to be quite successful in other reactions. Contributions from the "time-component", "ρ-meson" as well as recoil effect of nucleon are included in this paper. It is shown that the exchange of heavier systems other than the physical ρ-meson but with the same quantum numbers may be quite important to reproduce a forward peak of the produced ω. The magnitude of the 3π-ω interaction is estimated roughly also.
