In order to investigate the Kondo effect in transition metals, we propose a simple model Hamiltonian which takes account of the existence of two overlapping bands. Using the approximation of Nagaoka's decoupling procedure, we derive a set of simultaneous singular integral equations for scattering t-matrices, which are solved formally in the similar way as Zittartz and Muller-Hartmann. The imaginary part of the t-matrix for the frequency ω=0 is calculated to explain qualitatively the experimental result of the resistivity of Rh alloys.
