From the requirement of Regge pole duality, the direct-channel resonant amplitude is decomposed into two terms, with and without the signature factor τ. We suggest a model such that the former (the latter) term corresponds to the u-channel (t-channel) Regge amplitude with (without) the signature factor. Thus, our model may be regarded as an extension of the one proposed by Coulter, Ma and Shaw. Furthermore, this model enables us to reveal what part of the s-channel resonant amplitude is dual to the u-channel t-channel) Regge amplitude with (without) the signature factor and to predict exchange degeneracies of the Regge poles in the resonance region. On the basis of this model, the energy dependence of backward K^-p cross section at 0.9~2.5 GeV/c is estimated under the assumption that there is no resonance in the K^+p system. The result is in good agreement with experimental data.
