• Within the framework of SU(3) quark model, the production of vector mesons in high energy photonuclear reactions is investigated in the t-channel. Defining the physical baryon octet as 8 (physical)=8′ cos θ+8 sinθ, where 8 and 8′ arise from 3xotime3^^- and 3xotime6 respectively, a number of predictions are made using θ=20°. Also, independent of θ, a number of sum rules are derived.
