The Goldberger-Treiman Relation and Its Kaon Analogue as a Non-Group-Theoretical Kinematics Generating an SU(3) Symmetry

Assuming the Sakata model a SU(3)-symmetry character of Fermi interaction is derived from the non-group-theoretical conditions ∂_μ(N^^-γ_μγ_5τ_<i>N)=2m_<N0>(N^^-γ_5τ_<i>N) and ∂_μ(Λ^^-γ_μγ_<5>N)=(m_<N0>+m_<Λ0>)(Λ^^-γ_<5>N). The latter conditions are weaker than the SU(3) symmetry and enableus to reproduce the Goldberger-Treiman relation and its kaon analogue through purely kinematical manipulations. Further, the γ-matrix dependence of the Fermi interaction is determined by the conditions.
