An extension of Jastrow's method for the treatment of the quantum mechanical manybody problem with strong forces is proposed. A system of N identical particles (nucleons) to which two additional particles S have been attached is considered and a detailed study is performed (in the case lim <Ω→∞>^^^N→∞ N/Ω=ρ, Ω being the volume in which the system is included) by using cluster expansion techniques. A trial expression for E_<s1,s2>, the energy required to separate the two extra particles from the system and from each other, is derived and some possibilities are discussed.
