Propagation of a spherical blast wave in general relativity is investigated by extending Kompaneetz's method. Growth of pressure behind the shock front is suppressed by a factor in proportion to (1-3/10 γ_g/γ) compared with that in Newtonian case, where γ_g is the Schwarzschild radius of stellar objects. Propagation velocity of the shock front slows down by a factor e^<-(λ-ν)/2>. This effect may be similar to siminution of light velocity in the strong gravitational field.
