According to the requirement of the conformal invariance of the closed string coupled with the electromagnetic and gravitational field, we determine the interaction Hamiltonians and prove the no-ghost theorem by making use of the gauge conditions for the interacting system. The electromagnetic interaction cannot be minimal one because of the conformal invariance. We also show that in Compton scattering of an excited symmetric meson, a tachyon do not appear.
