• Probability of compound nucleus formation as well as charge and mass distribution of quasi-fission fragments in the fusion reactions leading to superheavy nuclei with Z = 112 ÷ 120 were calculated within the new approach proposed in Ref. Rather good agreement with available experimental data was obtained and estimations of the cross sections for SHE production in the hot and cold fusion reactions were made.
