The purpose of this paper was to analyze the structure of Information-oriented Personality and its relation to User of Information Media(i.e. City Magazine "Pear"). The data were analyzed by using quantification theory of qualitative data, so-called Quantification III. The following 5 dimensions of personality were found. (1) the degree of information-need (2) levelers (who has long view point) or non-levelers (3) self-standarder or other-standarder (who wants to know more than others) (4) wide interest but superficial , or narrow interest but profound (5) sharpner (are people who emphasize unique distinguishing details) or non-sharpner. The relation between information-oriented personality and the degree of using information media was analyzed and several significant results were found.
