The Helmholtz-Kohlrausch effect was estimated for object and luminous colors in the case of the variable-chromatic-color method. This method specifies luminance-factor values of various chromatic object colors with the same equivalent lightness, and luminance values of various chromatie colors with the same equivalent luminance. The predicted results showed that the effect in the variable-chromatic-color (VCC) method was twice as large as that in the variable-achromatic-color (VAC) method in Part 1 of the present studies. The method also predicted well the experimental results done by Sagawa et al. Using the VCC method. In addition, it was confirmed that the VCC method was more effective than the VAC method in practical visual photometry.
