An idea of spatial frequency domain and a theorem of discrete Fourier transforms are used for demonstrating hypothetical isolux diagram. A principal approach in this formulation is often referred to a Fourier filtering method in fractal simulation techniques on computer graphics. The main purpose of this paper is to intuitively visualize isolux domain diagram, altitude diagram, and 3-D perspective view by using the function of two variables specified by means of computer simulation. Mereover, simulation results obtained using the Fourier filtering method are compared with results based on other simulation techniques such as midpoint displacement method and two-variable function method.
