11. On the ectopic caltified tissue in articular discs of TMJ

It is known that the calcified lesions in human artictular discs of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) are found under the pathological conditions and/or infirmity. The existing mechanisms and constitution of these calcified tissue are still incompletely known. The present study was performed in order to obtain information about these calcified tisstue, using EPMA and TEM.
