The pain clinic is divided into two groups. One is able to visit pain clinic directly by the patient and the other is only treated when the patient is sent from other clinic after diagnosed.As later group was chosed in our clinic, lumbago which is found usually is not so many. P.S.D. occupied the major part in number.Pain is recognized by only patient himself, moreover, can not be measured in quantity and quality Therefore, the degree of pain will be changed by the psychological factors, even in cancer pain.The pain caused by P.S.D. will be increased by the unsuitable treatment of doctor. After all, no good relationship between doctor and patient will cause the psychological disease. The treatment of pain of P.S.D. is as follows.1) to make "rapport" with patient by hearing with enough time the complain of patient.2) To relieve the pain using with suitable nerve block, though the effect of it is not so long.3) Autogenic training is a fundamental therapy of P.S.D., moreover, the other psychological therapy will be added.4) Psychological therapy of patient is nursing. The doctors have to help to make the true nursing. Otherwise, the doctors will be troubled by P.S.D. patient.
