The temperature coefficient of lethal action of carbaryl to the housefly was negative in the range of temperature from 5 to 25℃ and positive between 25 and 35℃.The differences between toxicities, however, in the range of temperature from 10 to 25℃ were not marked. That to the Oriental housefly was negative in the range of temperature from 5 to 20℃ and positive between 20 and 35℃. The similar negative and positive relations were also obtained with some other experimental or commercial available carbamates in the Oriental housefly.
