The antifeeding effect of chlordimeform was tested on five different species of plant-sucking insects using radioactive ^<32>P-H_3PO_4. Chlordimeform exhibited a non-specific antifeeding action, and the sucking rates of all the insect species tested were reduced to 40 to 60% at the concentration as low as 10ppm.
