首都圏における国立・私立小学校の入学動機・志願理由に関する研究 : 有名小学校「お受験」志向の実証的検討

The purpose of this study is to investigate the infatuation with national or private elementary schools in the Tokyo metropolitan area by means of a questionnaire. The questionnaire will be given to parents who hope to send their children to these schools. The peculiar feature of most of these schools is that they establish the reputation of the upper schools and admit their graduates to the attached upper schools almost always without any entrance examination. Places at these schools are sought after by the upper new middle class level of society. Also in this paper we will address why they choose these kinds of schools for their children. In order to conduct such a study we will sample five factors as follows. "hope for brand-name" factor, "religious belief&gender" factor, "character formation" factor, "attractive educational activity or curriculum" factor, and "advice from others" factor.
