It is well-known that the human body is in a balanced state of fluctuations or vibrations. Therefore, chaos analysis was used to investigate these changes. Visualization of the fluctuation waves was attempted using (1) a change of sphygmogram during meditation or concentration, (2) a change of sphygmogram during acupuncture stimulation at Hoku point, and (3) a change of the H-wave repetitive-evoked electromyography (RE-EMG) under the influence of acupuncture anesthesia (A. A.). Each fluctuation could be represented by an attractor, and the Lyapunov exponent was calculated as the parameter of the attractor, making it possible to show the effects of mental state and acupuncture as parameters that show the state of the human body. It seems that the effect of acupuncture can influence the fluctuations of the human body and can restore balance in the human body. A. A. blocked the control from the central nervous system and affected the reflex system. Meditation practice showed a chaos state similar to qigong practice, but the chaos state during visualization was different from those of meditation practice or gigong practice.
