• A poem selected from Tabito Ohtomo's 'Danka visiting to the River Matsuura' has been chiefly discussed in relation between "Yushianku" and "Taohuayuangi" and "Monzen" In contrast with this, the aim of this paper is to attempt to argue a resemblance between 'ayu-fishmg' in Tabito's danka and 'carp-fishing' in "Shijing'"s 'Houren' by tracing back to the frequent image of 'Lover goes for ayu-fishing' and through analyzing the cryptology of fishing
