Latticed Wing in ζ plane is transformed into ζ_2 plane by means of a simple known comformal transformation. A thin steel plate is cut to the shape of ζ_2 plane. Electric current is applied between A and B, and electric potential on the boundary of this model is measured as manifested in Fig. 6. The potential value on the curve in ζ_2 plane has been determined in this way. Comparing this potential to the potential of circumference of the circle of Z plane, which can be easely mathematically calculated, we can find the corresponding points on the curve in ζ_2 plane and the circumference in Z plane (corresponding points have same potential value). Thus the corresponding points on the wing surface and the circumference of the circle have been determined. We can easily find the air speed distribution on the wing surface, etc. by ordinary way. Easiness of making model, and simplicity of electrical measurement are the superior qualities of this method.
