• In this article, the author studies the vanishing of cohomologies of smooth varieties over a field of positive characteristic. By using classifying algebraic stacks of gerbes of liftings to rings of Witt vectors of length two and Deligne-Illusie's theorem of degeneration of Hodge spectral sequence, we have some Kodaira-Kollar type vanishing theorems and Esnault-Viehweg type vanishing theorems.
