1. Purpose. Technical Home Economics taught in junior high school in Japan does not include the subject of family relationships. The author innestigated whether it is necesary or not to teach family relationships. 2. Procedure i) The author investigated how family relationships had been dealed with in the course of study of home economics used until 1961. ii) The author researched about the problems of to familys of 232 students of Nakamura College and 130 pupils of one of junior high school in Fukuoka. iii) The author inuestigated the state of juvenile delinquency using the data of the Family Court of Fukuoka. 3. Conclution. The author has convinced that we should teach in junior high school Technical home economics in conection with the family relationships.
