Twenty Clothing goods which have different were bought through internet and mail-order selling. The color stimulations of the original goods were compared quantitatively by colorimeter to those of the same goods on the printed catalog, on the liquid crystal display (LCD) and on the cathode-ray tube (CRT) screen and following results were obtained. 1) As for the catalog, the differences of color values from the original goods were smaller compared to other screens. 2) On the LCD screen the chroma and brightness shows higher values than the original goods. 3) On the catalog and the CRT screen the warm colors were darkish but cool colors were vivid. 4) As for the blue colors, the differences of colors values from the original goods on the catalog and the screens were smaller compared to the other colors.
