A model of co-existence of interlinked credit-labour contract and interlinked credit-product contract in agriculture has been developed using the consumption-efficiency hypothesis of Leibenstein (1957). It is shown that the interest-rate in the interlinked credit-labour contract is lower than that in the interlinked credit-product contract.
