• The purpose of this paper is to investigate the possibility of unemployment in the short run and its adjustment process toward the new long-run equilibrium and to investigate the social welfare. This system is characterized by downward wage rigidity causing labor to idle. This paper devotes to explore occurrence of involuntary unemployment with downward wage rigidity and adjustment process in short run and long run.
