• J. Metz constructed geometrically the unknown coefficient of linear term from the graph of quadratic function. Motivated by the article of Metz, one of ours considered this problem using segments calculation by D. Hilbert. In this paper, we construct geometrically the unknown coefficients from the graphs of cubic function and of quartic function by using segments calculation.
