In the last 100 years, the societal and economic roles of women in the United States have changed vastly. While these changes have perhaps been most dramatic in the countryside, they have probably evolved more significantly in cities or high business areas. Many factors have contributed to the re-identification of the woman of the '90's. At least three readily apparent forces can be identified and analyzed. Technology, attitudes and economic pressures have paved a one way street to the future for women in the United States.
