In recent years, the Internet spread in Japan and the Internet populations increased quickly by the year 2001. The role of website became very important in professional sport management. The purpose of this study is to analyze the contents of the official website of football clubs which belongs to J.League, MLS, Bundesliga and Premiership in 2001 season, and compare the contents of clubs which belong to the 4 leagues about the situation of the official website and clarify similar and difference points. As a candidate for investigation, 66 clubs that belong to 4 leagues were selected. The 22 items were chosen and the contents analysis were conducted. Consequently, similar points of 4 leagues were "Goods information", "Club news and what's New", "News of individual player", "Game information and schedule", "Community activities" and "Ticket information" . The rates of enforcement of these contents were very high. The significant difference was statistically recognized in 9 items, "Goods sale", "Fan club information", "Club profile", "Live audio and streaming", "Corporate hospitality facilities and services", "Supporters' club activity promoted", "Chat and Board", "Away travel details" and "Sponsor list" in the comparative analysis of the contents between 4 leagues. In the future, it can be maximized the effect of the marketing strategy preformed in the limited budget by using the Internet in the professional sport management.
