• This paper examines the comparison of American and Japanese high school students: behavior patterns and aspects of values. It also refers to the problems and the desirable course of the internationally comparative investigation in educational field. A data "A Comparative Investigation of American and Japanese High school students (Japan Youth Research Institute, 1979)" is used here.
