• 1. Up to the temperature of about 10.0℃, the number of respiration shows no great change, and it is about 40-60 times a minute. And then up to about 25.0℃, in proportion as the temperature rises in 1.0℃, the number increses about 10 times a minute. 2. At the normal temperature of about 18.0℃, it is about 150 times. 3. From about 26.0℃, in proportion as the temperature rises, the number increases rapidly, but the rate is irregular. 4. From about 28.0℃, the number increases rapidly and it becomes to exceed 300 times a minute. 5. At 30.0℃, it becomes over 370 times ; but after that, it only rises and falles within 400 times and does not show any remarkable change.
