China is making an effort to develop the security market which is one of the most important subjects concerning the economic reform of China. The uniform security market whose core is the Shanghai Security Exchange and the Shenzhen Security Exchange has been built. Although the security law, as a fundamental law regulating the security market, has not as yet been enacted, the Chinese Government has established many rules for a sound development of the security market. The regulation on inside trading is one part of these numerous rules. This article researches the status quo and problems of the regulation on inside trading in China.
