Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation (RFCA) has been established as a first line curative treatment modality in patients with symptomatic and antiarrhythmic drugs superventricular tachycardia. The purpose of this study was to investigate the patients exposure in RFCA. We studied 30 patients of RFCA. Average exposure time is 49.23±23.82 minutes. Average exposure x-ray dose is 177.5±128.0 mGy or 247.6±156.1 mGy. A comparison between the high kV low mA group and the low kV high mA group, shows that exposure time (min) isn't greatly different (58.80±27.72 vs 39.67±14.50,P> 0.05) but exposure x-ray dose (mGy) has significant difference (177.5±128.0 vs 247.6±156.1,P<0.05). These results suggest are must protect againat x-ray exposure in Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation.
