概要

• A computer program to teach numbers in English to Japanese learners was written for NEC and IBM-compatible personal computers. It has tutorials in both English and Japanese explaining how to read many types of numbers : cardinals, ordinals, decimals, fractions, prices, addresses, etc. Learners may also input numbers both in words and figures for checking and correction. The program is described and its usefulness is assessed.
