Student evaluation scores of native English teachers' instruction were exceptionally high at Tokai University in Japan. The author was interested in these results, and analyzed these evaluation scores. The following question : "Did the instruction stimulate your interest?" was the most significant finding from the analyzed data of evaluation scores. The most significant finding from the questionnaires given to the native English teachers was that these teachers aim to create a relaxed atmosphere and enjoyable lessons. This corresponds directly with the main finding from the questionnaires given to former students of English.
