The third act of the Kabuki drama "Megumi Atuta no on yurai", which describes the scene of the mansion of Ousu no Mikoto and the scene of the fall at Sanageyama, is reproduced in this paper. The following is the story. The second prince Yamato Takeru no Mikoto goes as an Imperial messenger to the mansion of the first prince Ousu no Mikoto. He tells Ousu no Mikoto to conquer Ebisu in the Eastern Country by the Imperial order but Ousu no Mikoto declines on the ground of his illness. Finding out that Ousu no Mikoto was faking it, Yamato Takeru urged him to accept the order. Otherwise the head of Ousu no Mikoto shuld be cut off and presented. Isahaya Shinclou, a follower of Ousu no Mikoto, gets perplxed and offers the head of his brother Maoka in place of the head of Ousu no Mikoto. Maoka's lover Katuragi, kills herself after him. When Yamato Takeru is about to return with the head, he finds out that Ousu no Mikoto has run away with a divine mirror. Yamato Takeru takes back the divine mirror with the help of the sprits of the deceased Maoka and Katuragi.
