Singapore is a small island state with a population of three million people in a total area of 646 square kilometers. This gives a high density of more than 4,500 residents per square kilometer. Land is very limited and precious. Can Singapore, as a city state, be able to feed its population? Is it feasible or desirable to have agriculture on its limited land?
