When some problems of children happen, their fundamenntal living practice or parent-child relationship is mentioned as one of reasons. Home discipline sometimes is spotted as the cause. I think that childrens'home forms the base of their living, so the effect of home conditions should not be overlooked.By the way ten years ago 1984, I have surveyed "the conditions of children's living at home" by asking the parents about their elementary school age children. Again I tried to survey the same thing by using same questionare as last time for grasping the most recent children's living at home.By following eight same categories as last report, I classified and examined results.1. Diet Life2. Time budget3. TV watching4. Private school5. Play6. Pocket money7. Habit of life8. Health conditionAfter comparing with the result of ten years ago, I could find two remarkable features. TV watching time becomes longer. More children go to the private schools or lesson halls. Children have a tendency to keep their time for playing in spite of time restriction. Outdoor play like baseball or soccer decreases. Children enjoy indoor play like some kinds of television game including super-famicon or family-computer.
