This paper presents an interactive graphical application system that user can easily create geometric shapes. The application system is based on Lindenmayer systems and turtle graphics. Lindenmayer systems are a sort of rewriting systems. Lindenmayer systems consist of the initial string and rewriting rules. The class of rewriting rules in the application system is context-free. The application system interprets the strings, which are generated by Lindenmayer system, as turtle graphics commands, and draws the shapes. There are six turtle graphics commands in the application system. The application system draws two dimensional wire frame pictures by combinations of commands. Also, the application allows user to edit data interactively, and shapes corresponding to the modified data are displayed on the fly. The system allows user to create many complex shapes from simple data.
