Stochastic traffic assignment methods which explicitly allow non-minimum cost routes to be selected have been proposed by Abraham, Dial, Burrell, and so on. This paper classifies those methods into three groups, i.e., uniform distribution model, logit model, and probit model, and discuss the characteristics of these methods.
