This paper is concerned with the state estimation problem for the stochastic elastic systems. First, by using the stress tensor and the displacement vector, the mathematical model of the stochastic elastic system is given. Then, the stochastic elastic system is rewritten by a variational form by introducing the appropriate function spaces. Secondly, the existence and uniqueness theorem of the solution to the system equation is proved with the help of the method of Galerkin. Finally, in the estimation problems, under the noisy boundary observation, the optimal state estimator equation in a sense of a minimal variance estimate is derived by using the filtering theory.
