As the important factors of light source, we are able to point out luminescent colours, colour temperatures, and colour rendering in our daily life. This report is the fundamental experiments on the visual effect, by using fluorescent lamps which have different luminescent colours and colour temperatures and colour rendering indices . From the results of this experiments, we must reconsider the needs of growing the illumination. At the same time, it is obvious that there is a close relation between colour rendering of light source and the comfortable interior surroundings.
