この論文は国立情報学研究所の学術雑誌公開支援事業により電子化されました。This paper explores two related themes in Bangkok's development. Population growth, though lower in absolute terms than sometimes suggested, grew rapidly from the 1880s. This put pressure for administrative change, and one result was the formation of the Ministry of the Capital in 1892.
