• This paper raises several important issues on "Modernization" of Homemaking Education through the Critique of the Independent-organized Plan of "Iwate Gijutu-kyoiku o Katarukai". I think that "Iwate Gijutu-kyoiku o Katarukai" had the important influence on "Modernization" of Homemaking Education. In this paper I try to introduce the practices of "Iwate Gijutu-kyoiku o Katarukai" and point out some questions in it.
