The function of communication is to create a bond between two human beings. The drastic change of society has compelled us to take up this problem to create a new field for the study of human nature. Language, considered as a tool in the per formance of human communication, exists in the 'field' or 'situation' in which a communication is executed, and is regarded as being symbolized the mental image which is created in an individual. Japanese mode of communication, on the other hand, is performed on the basis of self introspection without using words or on the basis of artistic expression of silence. The reason for this could be derived from of this country closed nature i.e., the closedness derived for geographical conditions and the closedness determined by social structure. Such modes of communication deepened the isolation of the Japanese language, promoted the use of coin words in Japanese style, producing diversified dialects and the difference of occupational language, being conspicious the difference between status and sexes. The fact that the above-mentioned characteristics of the Japanese tend to decreased with the exception of coinage indicates the change of Japanese society itself. Daily conversation may be regarded as the most 'naive' form of our communication. Oral speech, therefore, may be regarded as taking the most important role of 'living language'. By contrast, the written language serves to fade the internal density because of having the double selective functions, i.e., symbolizing our mental image and wording it. Daily conversation is performed in the involvement of common moods created between speaker and listner-such as "we are always so and so-". Psychologically speaking, language is acquired with the extension of intellectual and behavioral radius. With regard to the use of language, the thinking proposed by general semantics might be considered to protect us from all kind of anxiety when we are confronted with the execution of verbal action. Our communication must, therefore, take most important to use language which is more lively, highly internally densed and which is easier to make a cooperation. To seek for better mode of communication and language by taking a continuous and dynamic observation would be the sole possible way toward grasping the real nature between language and communication.
